Peacefully in her sleep after a long illness, Mia Claire Day died aged 2 years on 1st February 2007.
Missed so much by her Mummy, Daddy and all her family and friends.
Mia was our little princess who could put a smile on our faces no matter what was happening for us. She had a tiny beautiful face with a mop of brown and bouncy curls - Mia was well a truly a little stunner. She touched so many lives by her funny sayings, cheeky ways and gorgeous face... not to mention her infectious laugh. Mia amazed everyone with her bravery throughout all her illness and will be missed by every life she touched.

Angels from heaven are occasionally sent
They are given to parents who have shown there worth
It isn't a cruel or meaningless act
Its written in stars its an heavenly pact
These angels are chosen this way
To prepare heavens gardens for all children to play
God bless mum and dad who are left sore of heart
For the love that was given will never depart.
You'll rejoice once again when your time on earth ends
As you meet there in heaven your broken heart mends.

In our memories and Hearts forever
I’ll lend you for a little time
A child of Mine," He said.
"For you to love the while she lives,
And mourn for when she’s dead.
It may be six or seven years
Or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call her back
Take care of her for Me?
She’ll bring her charms to gladden you,
And should her stay be brief,
You’ll have her lovely memories
As solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
Since all from Earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there

On a hill in the distance
A young girl quietly waits
Patiently she watches
For her family at the gates
Her blue eyes shine so brightly
As hope swells within
For soon she'll see her loved ones
And never part again
How joyous will be the meeting
As mother holds her child
And father kisses softly
The angel-his long lost child
Once more they'll hold each other
And tears will be no more
Forever they'll be together
As they pass through heaven's door.
Sweet Child
Did you see the little girl who came to play?
Little did we know she would not stay,
She crammed so much into the time she had,
Her lovely smile made everyone so glad,
Now she has gone to where the Angels play,
Love and remembered every day.
This is one of the poems I wrote when my darling grand-daughter became an Angel aged 8 weeks on Feb 13th 2006, my thoughts and prayers go out to you all.I hope you find great comfort in this site, take each day at a time and remember no-one can take away your memories.God bless and may the Great Spirit watch over you always,Mia will be with you always.
